Welcome to the Spice Road Quest!

Over the next 12 months, I am going to be taking you on a journey as we explore 30 different spices, herbs, and blends that have made their way over oceans, across deserts, and passed from hand to hand via various trade routes.

Discovering the histories of some of these herbs and spices that date back hundreds, if not thousands, of years. How they became known and pivotal to cultures far away from their original region.

Not to mention food! I will also be sharing some recipes that highlight these wonderful and oftentimes exotic flavors.

Join me as we traverse the world to experience the flavors that define culinary cultures from across the globe.
